The perfect stay in Provence!

I am really enjoying living in Provence, sometimes I don´t even miss traveling!

And yet, believe me, I've traveled a lot, and I really love it!

My family and I love spending our free weekends exploring the region (between the mountains, countryside, and the sea!)

Here are a few of my tips: 

If you booked a tour and cooking class with Leki, plan to stay downtown after the class for museums (Caumont, Granet at least), take a Cézanne tour, or even do more shopping in the pleasaent streets of Aix (most of the shops close at 7 PM).

In the evening, have a glass of wine, or share a cheese and charcuterie board at the restaurant (I can also make you some recommendations).

Another activity I recommend is a boat tour in Cassis

While there, visit a few vineyards (like Domaine le Paternel).

When family or friends visit, we also love to bring them to the Carrières des Lumières, then take a stroll in the village.

Toulon and Ollioules or Sanary 

(Whether you prefer a bigger city, an inland village, or a fishing village).

Those cities are also absolutely lovely and, I would say, still more authentic than Marseille, Cassis, or Les Baux-de-Provence

If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing activity, you cannot miss the Couvent des Minimes. For my husband and me, it is the best spa in the region!

For more sporty activities, why not climb Sainte-Victoire?

Just a heads-up: it's not a walk in the park, but a nice little challenge. Make sure you're properly equipped and keep an eye on the weather, but as long as you plan it right, you'll be fine—our daughter hiked it when she was only eight!

If you have time, drive to the Camargue, take the Salt Train in Le Grau-du-Roi, and walk on the roof of the Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer church. It has been a memorable experience for the whole family!

I have noticed that most of my clients continue their trip to Nice and the region (try the socca, stuffed vegetables, and fritters!) In the area, you should not miss Biot (and the glassmakers) and Grasse (the real capital of perfume, with the perfume museum and the Fragonard shop and museum)
